Conde Nast Folds FOUR Magazines !

Conde Nast is one of the biggest magazine publishing company in the U.S. Home to Vogue, WWD, Gourmet, Modern Bride, Lucky, W, Allure, Vanity Fair, GQ, & Teen Vogue. I was priveleged to work with them in Fall '08 for DNR which turned into WWD Mens. Due to financial issues they had cut DNR.. which was a High fashion Menswear magazine. But luckily just made it apart of WWD. Today, it has been set that, due to economical issues with sales & such.. they have closed FOUR more of their magazines. Modern Bride, Cookie, Elegant Bride & Gourmet ! Gourmet is a huge magazine for the food industry. This just goes to show how bad he magazine industry is closing. Due to the internet ! Magazines are no longer getting needed sales to pay for advertisments to pay finances for the mags ! SADD but true =( The only magz still going strong is Fashion mags such as Vogue. Let's see how much longer it can survivee ! =(
