As you have read, or heard, L&L has in been in the process of launching our online magazine. We have recieved some GREAT feedback from the last post I did like this the other day. I thank EVERYONE for reaching out to us ! We will try our BEST to get back to EVERYONE at a decent time.

We have been building and carefully selecting the right individuals to work with. Welcoming some CREATIVE, GREAT individuals for assisting in this launch, as well as being apart of the L&L Family. Nina Bunnie, Morgan From The ELITE NYC, Pnktaco (Jenn), Brianna, Angie & Chloe. We've found some GREAT girls with passion for writing and fashion. HOWEVER, we have yet to find a female that fits our requirements, for our MUSIC section. 

WHERE ARE THE FEMALES THAT KNOW THERE MUSIC !?

That have a passion for writing & music. Someone that can offer our music viewers articles to look forward to, and that they would appreciate.

OUR VIEWERS ! Lipstick & Labels would like to thank ALL our supporters, followers, viewers, and EVEN HATERS for ALL THE SUPPORT. Thanks to you guys, we have been motivated to transform L&L into an online media company (Magazine) geared towards bringing our generation of TALENT & AMBITION together. As well as growing into a PR FIRM. We will therefore serve as publicists to some of our greatest featured talent by assisting them in getting the exposure needed to get their career to where it needs to be. This means, access to many events, gigs, blogs, press, photo shoots, etc. In conclusion, Lipstick & Labels has an ONLINE MEDIA COMPANY/PR FIRM in the works ! Set to be launched within the next WEEK or so ! So spread the word & get excited ! It will offer you ALL that you've grown to love on our blog, but SO much more !!! Esteban Cabeza de Baca and Fletcher Williams present Powers That Be, an art exhibition revising lost history to understand who we are today. 

If Painting could speak it would express how energy is produced, narrate revolutions in energy and prophesize how power effects consumption. 

These works also magnify the power relationships that each of us partake in on a day to day basis as we shop for the latest designer fashion, 

blast our car stereo audaciously louder than the car next to you us, or be delivered a bottle of Grey Goose with bursting sparklers blooming from the top.

The show will consist of installations, sculptures, and paintings. 

Music provided by DJ Reg West and Wine and food will be served !!!

A Shawn Carter Documentary: NY-Z

So, Today marks the day that HOV'S short film has been released. I remember seeing the short preview to this during his BP3 Concert at Madison Square Garden a few weeks ago. The documentary is VERY insightful & Inspiring of course ! Shawn Carter should be respected, and appreciated and looked at as an inspiration for how far he has came. But I guess it's true when they say "The more GREAT you get, the more HATE you get". Anway, ENJOY this film !!
