BEST Friend.
You can have a MILLION friends. But the individuals that have the BEST friend title are the ones that understand you and support you more than ANYONE else. At least that’s how I feel it should ALWAYS be. NEVER should you turn your back on your best friend, just because you’re tired of them complaining, OR don’t agree with their situation. Of course there will be times that you feel your friend is making a HUGE mistake. But your job as a BEST friend is to just be there to listen & help remind her of the consequences if your feel so strongly about what she is doing is wrong. NOT to just avoid her, because you’re tired of hearing her pointless complaining. And at the end of the situation, if it turns out YOU were RIGHT, you are NOT there to give her the “I told you so”. Being a BEST friend, you’re there to help her pick up the pieces and keep it moving. People are to live life and make their OWN mistakes, as well as their OWN judgments. So, if you have a best friend that you feel is making a HUGE mistake, just be there for her. But as playing a huge role as being her BEST friend, DO NOT give up on her. If my two best friends were to EVER give up on me, or NOT want to hear it anymore, I’d feel at my lowest. It would make my situation ten times worse. Because, at the end of the day, I would always feel as if I will ALWAYS have my best friends to fall back on no matter WHAT. If they weren’t there, I’d have nothing, and would just fall.
Having a BEST friend role is NOT easy. BUT once you have it, PLAY it. Do not take your role lightly. Because you now have an individual depending on you at ALL times.
QUESTION: Know Your Worth
WHY DO GUYS/GIRLS HOLD ON TO PEOPLE WHO AREN'T WORTH HOLDING ON TO ?
Talk about knowing your worth but yet settle for those who don't acknowledge it. People always cry and get mad at the person who puts them through so much but never takes themselves out of that predicament. Honestly, the real person you should be mad at is yourself. Though every situation people are either blind to whats going on or they just pretend not to see it; At the end of the day no one is keeping you there but yourself. I guess its just one of those things that are easier said then done.....love is blind !

Inspiration: ALEXANDER MCQUEEN
A small slideshow I put together, showcasing some of my personal favorite, inspirational pieces of McQueen.
Another Genius GONE. R.I.P Lee McQueen
As most of you may have heard, Lee McQueen, Founder and Designer of the well known brand Alexander McQueen committed suicide early this morning. This has been bothering me for TWO reasons. ONE: He was someone I looked to for inspiration and TWO: The way he died.
McQueen is one of the FEW designers that reminds us that fashion IS ART. People take fashion TOO serious & McQueen's designs were always so innovative & EPIC. His shows were theatrical & very technologically advanced. ! Like NO OTHER. Just as his pieces were. TRULY ONE OF A KIND. There REALLY will NEVER be another designer like McQueen. His vision was something I could NEVER understand. Like sometimes I wonder, what goes on in the mind of these genius's ! Like Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Lady Gaga. Such talented PASSIONATE people are the ones that leave so soon, or end up doing drastic things. There mind are just TOO out of this world.
Suicide has been a HUGE sensitive topic for me as well, due to the fact that I lost my uncle (My father's older brother) to that 3 years ago. It was the BIGGEST tragedy my family faced and probably my worst life experience yet. I never really spoke about it, besides my CLOSEST friends. I guess, I never really knew what to say, or how to explain it. Just seeing someone you love, or even look up to be a quitter, is the WORST thing ever. We all need to realize, that LIFE IS HARD. However, NOTHING that is worth it is easy. God throws us obstacles, to test our strength, as well as to make us stronger. He wouldn't give us these challenges if he didn't think we couldn't handle them. DON'T BE A QUITTER. That's an instant move towards FAILURE. Keep trying, That's taking steps towards success.
